Now Hiring: Vice President of Development

WASHINGTON, D.C. (April. 27, 2026) – Farm Journal Foundation is hiring a Vice President of Development, responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of the Foundation’s revenue streams.


This role drives the strategic growth of FJF’s mission – meet the vital needs of the global population through agriculture – by identifying, cultivating, and securing long-term partnerships and funding from corporations, foundations, and government entities. This role owns the full development lifecycle, from prospecting to contract execution and long-term stewardship, with a relentless focus on results and impact. 


We are looking for a high-energy leader with genuine passion for agriculture who brings both strategic vision and hands-on execution. Applicants should have 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in development, corporate partnerships, or institutional giving, preferably within the NGO, agriculture, food, or food security space. This role can be located remotely with reasonable access to an airport and will require periodic travel to the Foundation's headquarters in Washington, D.C.
