Now Hiring: Communications Coordinator


WASHINGTON, D.C. (JAN. 12, 2026) – Farm Journal Foundation is hiring a Communications Coordinator to work across a range of programs, including supporting events and communications for the Voice of the Farmer Garden.


This role will be responsible for duties including supporting educational content creation and organizing, planning, and executing special events at the garden, which is a living learning exhibition at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) headquarters on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. We are looking for an outgoing individual willing to work closely with partner organizations, as well as an organized and skilled problem-solver who can think on their feet and take initiative on strategic projects. This role will also support other communications efforts at Farm Journal Foundation beyond the garden as needed.


This is an entry-level position. Internship experience or 1-3 years of work experience would be a plus. This role can be based anywhere in the U.S., but frequent travel to Washington, D.C. will be required.
