Read Our 2023 Impact Report


WASHINGTON, D.C. (Feb. 14, 2024) – Farm Journal Foundation is pleased to release its 2023 Impact Report, covering milestones and major events from the past year.


Highlights from the report include:


  • Driving Climate Discussions at COP28: Farm Journal Foundation was on the ground at COP28 in Dubai, hosting key discussions about the links between climate change, hunger, malnutrition, and global stability.

  • Taking our Food Security Message to the Road: We held a summer roadshow with events with members of Congress in multiple states, showcasing research taking place at universities and innovations on the farm.

  • Building a Stronger Veterinary Workforce: We developed new educational platforms to support students on their veterinary career paths, and continued to educate leaders about the U.S. rural veterinary shortage and its impact on our food system.

  • Teaching Students About Agriculture: We launched a new Voice of the Farmer Garden at the New York State Fair to teach consumers about their food's origin. We are also continuing to develop standards-based curriculum for K-12 students.

  • Publishing Groundbreaking Research: We commissioned leading research papers on food security, national security, and the global "polycrisis" – sparking numerous discussions about how to ensure global food systems can work for everyone.
