CAMPUS
ENGAGEMENT

Farm Journal Foundation’s Campus Engagement Program uses education and advocacy to reach students on their college campuses and through an online speaker series. Today’s students are future voters, consumers, and community leaders, so it is crucial to educate them on the necessary role of modern agriculture in creating affordable, accessible, and nutritious food for a growing world.

HOW IT WORKS

Each semester, the Foundation offers programs at a range of institutions – including Ivy League schools, liberal arts colleges, large state universities, and land grant universities – with the goal of creating new champions for agriculture. These initiatives provide experiential learning, leadership development opportunities, and the chance to directly advocate to national-level policymakers. Since launching this program, the Foundation has engaged with over 3 million students across 250 campuses and other venues nationwide.
