The Foundation's ambassadors are unique in the world of global food security. The Foundation has established a Farmer Ambassador Program to intersect the voice of the farmer with key policymakers to address issues regarding agricultural research and development and global food security. The Foundation's student ambassadors are university students or recent graduates seeking opportunities to grow in agricultural and global food security advocacy. Our ambassadors collectively bridge the gap from producers to consumers from congressional meetings to operating our Voice of the Farmer Garden in Washington, D.C.
Farm Journal Foundation’s Farmer Ambassador program engages farmers and producers from across the country as advocates and champions,
supporting and encouraging investment in modern agricultural developments to ensure access to food and nutritional security for all people.
The Foundation has created an alumni group of over 50 leaders who have utilized their training to become key leaders, advocates, and communicators for agriculture, hunger, and global food security.
